Terms, Policies & Health Declaration

1. Retreat Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Deposit: A 15% non-refundable deposit is required upon registration to secure your spot for the retreats.

  • Balance Payment: Full payment is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date.

  • Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start date will receive a full refund minus the 15% non-refundable deposit.

    • Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable due to pre-committed accommodation, transport, and permit arrangements.

  • Transfers: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another eligible participant subject to prior approval and health declaration review.

2. Participant Health & Wellness Declaration

  • Scope of Experience: Our retreats involve daily silent meditation (up to 12 hours daily for silent phases), early morning rising, pranayama, and immersive sound work.

  • Self-Responsibility: By registering, participants confirm they are in suitable physical, mental, and emotional health to participate in intensive silent meditation and Himalayan mountain environments.

  • Medical Disclaimer: Offerings by Sangeetism are contemplative, artistic, and educational in nature. They do not constitute medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. If you are under psychiatric care or taking specialized medication, please consult your physician before enrolling.

3. Private 1-on-1 Lessons Policy

  • Rescheduling & Cancellations: Lessons can be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance via your booking confirmation link.

  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice will be charged at the full rate.

4. Store & Charity Subscription Box

  • Digital Audio: All digital audio download sales are final upon delivery.

  • Physical Goods: Physical items damaged during shipping will be replaced upon photo verification within 7 days of delivery.

  • Seva Subscription: Charity subscription boxes can be canceled or paused at any time before the next billing cycle through your store account.

5. Intellectual Property & Privacy

  • Content Rights: All original audio recordings, texts, course materials, and visual aesthetics hosted on Sangeetism are protected under copyright law.

  • Privacy Statement: Personal details submitted via forms, bookings, or store checkouts are strictly protected and never shared or sold to third parties.
